There are 54 private rooms and four shared rooms in the nursing home. All rooms have en-suites. The independent living units comprise of both one bedroom and two bedroom units. Tenants of the units can avail of a menu of additional services from the nursing home. Portumna Retirement Village is registered with HIQA to provide long-term care, convalescent care and respite care to both older people and to younger people with physical and sensory disabilities and is recognised by VHI, Aviva, and Quinn Health Insurance. |
