Portumna Community School Musical
That time of year has come again, with Portumna Community Schools long history of successful Musicals, this year the pick is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. The transition years will perform the musical to the public on the 4th and 5th of Feburary, ticket details can be got by contacting the school. The students have put an enormous amount of work into the production, all under the experienced, watchful eyes of Mr.J. Coughlan and Ms.D Kelleher. The Musical will be a performance not to be missed.

The Community School always put on a great show, this is one not to be missed book early to avoid disappointment. The story of Joseph is well known in this retelling of the Biblical story, Joseph is a young man who is his father's favorite child, able to interpret dreams, and the bearer of an amazing coat. These facts lead Joseph's eleven brothers to become insatiably jealous. Thus, they sell Joseph into slavery to some passing Ishmaelites. The musical tells his story and of course includes the hit tune any dream will do.

They presented a cheque for €375-00 to COPE, Waterside House Galway.
