Galway Sister Receives 'Special Recognition Award' from Reality Magazine
On Saturday 19th November, the religious magazine 'Reality' presented Sr Assumpta Collins with a 'Special Recognition Award'. The Award was given to Sr Assumpta in recognition of her many years promoting the Redemptorist magazine Reality.

In presenting the Award, Fr Gerard Moloney, Editor of Reality, said: "Redemptorist Communications relies on a large network of volunteers throughout Ireland to help promote and sell Reality. We cannot thank our current network of volunteers enough for their work.

It is always difficult to select any individual for specific praise, but we have chosen to make a special presentation to Sr Assumpta Collins who has worked tirelessly for us for many years, promoting Reality in the Portumna area in Co Galway.

Like many others, Sr Assumpta sells many copies of Reality every month, come hail, rain or snow. Without the voluntary support of Sr Assumpta and our many other promoters, we would not have reached this fabulous milestone of 75 years of Reality magazine."
