Information Request: Looking for information on burial place of Thomas and Teresa (Grealis) Hannon, formerly of 39 Old Street Portumna in 1911.

We've received a message from Mike Allen in the US looking for information on where his great grandparents, Thomas and Teresa (Grealis) Hannon, are buried. They last appeared in the 1911 census for Portumna, Galway living in a house 39 in Old Street and have four sons listed. They were married in Loughrea in 1872. Mike's grandmother was Mary Theresa Hannon (1876-1958) who was also born in Portumna, and immigrated to the US in the 1890's, married his grandfather, Edward H Allen in Brooklyn, NY, then settled in Harrison, NY. Mary's parents were Thomas Hannon (born about 1842 in Ireland) and Teresa Grealis. She had several siblings who also immigrated to the US.

If you have any information, please post to the Ireland XO website message board here: http://www.irelandxo.com/group/portumna-boula-gortanummera/messages/thomas-and-teresa-grealis-hannon-portumna or contact the Ireland XO office in Loughrea on (091)842013 or email: info@irelandxo.com.

Eight students as part of their prize have won a three day trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg from the 22nd-24th February 2012.
