The Sarah Killeen School of Dance
The Sarah Killeen School of Dance offers classical ballet classes at The Engine Room Fitness & Wellbeing Centre, Clonfert Avenue, Portumna from this September. The school offers classes to students of all ages and teaches the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) – the largest examining and training body for classical ballet worldwide.

The Pre-School curriculum for 3/4 year olds uses movement as the medium for creativity, expression and musicality to be developed. From 5 years, students study Pre-Primary & Primary in Dance syllabus, a fun-filled enchanting introduction to the world of ballet as well as learning the basic steps of ballet technique. The syllabus continues through Grade 1 to 8, each level giving the students the opportunity to prepare for Graded Examinations, if they so wish.

The school is also offering Adult Ballet and Barre Blitz classes for those adults who may wish to take up a new exercise activity or for those who want to return to the world of ballet.

Classical Ballet is essential for any student who wishes to develop further their interest in dance and is a vital requirement for those who wish to study performing arts.

Class numbers are limited – enrol now to avoid disappointment.
