Data Protection Act:
There are new laws operating in our country, including ones dealing with privacy. The practice up to now was to put the names of relatives of parishioners recently deceased on the newsletter. It has been pointed out that this practice is an intrusion of privacy. In future, unless a member of the family contacts the parish office about the death of their relative it will not appear in the parish news letter.
Notices for Parish Newsletter:
All notices are to be written and signed and left into the parish office by Thurs 10 a.m if they are to be included in the newsletter for the weekend.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade:
This years parade will be held on Easter Sunday at 3pm The theme for this years parade is “ Rebellion” so work your float around this theme.
Ability West – Formerly Galway Association:
Portumna branch A.G.M will be held in St. Dympna’s Centre on Mon 10th Mar at 8.30pm. New members welcome.
Charity Table Quiz in Aid of Cystic Fibrosis:
