Wednesday 19th Mar in St.Brendans Cathedral, Loughrea. Members of the faithful and especially the Ministers of the Eucharist are invited to the mass.
Communion to the Sick and Housebound:
Fr. Lawless will visit the sick and housebound on 4th April instead of holy Thursday.

Race Night:
Local athlete Shane O’Rourke is to attempt to complete a 250km race across the Atacama Desert in Chile on the 30th Mar in Aid of Acorn to Oak Childcare Facility. Race night on holy Sat Night 22nd Mar in O’Meara’s. Sponsorship cards are available from the Facility managers, Committee, or the O’Rourke family. Your support is greatly appreciated.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade:
This years parade will be held on Easter Sunday at 3pm from the Mart. We encourage all businesses and groups to participate.
Ability West – Formerly Galway Association:
The Portumna Branch of Ability West Wish to thank everyone for their continuous support in the recent Easter raffle which Was held on Monday 10th Mar in St. Dympna’s.
Charity Table Quiz in Aid of Cystic Fibrosis:

Camera Club:
Will meet this coming Tuesday 18th Mar at 8pm in the Maple Kitchen.
Junior Golf:
On Wed 19th Mar at 8pm in the clubhouse, talk on rules and etiquette, Parents invited along also. Two golfing days for the juniors on Wed 26th March and the 27th Mar with lessons commencing on Fri 28th for 6 weeks.
Portumna Scout Group:
Church gate collection will take place on Sat/Sun 22nd & 23rd Mar. In addition the parents and friends of Portumna Scouts will be selling tickets. Top prize is a ride on lawnmower over the following weeks to raise much needed funds for the development of the Scout Den facilities and equipment. Your support is much appreciated.
Ballinasloe Riding Club:
