Portumna Christmas Day Swim 2007:
Raised and donated €6,582 to Portumna and District Lions Club. Thanks to all the swimmers and supporters.
St. Patrick’s Day/ Easter Parade:
Will be held on Easter Sunday. This years parade Hopes to be the best ever, we have a prize for the best Easter Bonnet, also best dressed shop window, and many other prizes. This year we are presenting Mr. John Pardy and family with a special one off piece designed by Brian Murray. John built and owned the Shannon Oaks Hotel and helped along with many others to put Portumna on the tourist map. A great weekend promised.
Junior Golf:
Over the Easter there will be two golfing days for the Juniors Wed 26th & Thurs 27th March with lessons commencing on Fri 28th March for 6 weeks. The lessons Will be on first come basis. The lessons will start at 3pm and will be 1 hour duration. The cost is €60 per person payable in advance. To book ring Michael Ryan 9741059 The first hour will be for 6 to 8 yr olds.
