Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock:
On Sun 25th May. Anointing of the Sick at 2.30pm Followed by mass and the rosary procession.
We will be joined by Galway and Armagh Dioceses and the Knights of Columbanus on the day.

A new range of products including gluten free spelt breads, yeast breads Savoury dishes, and bedding plants now available every Fri in the Town Hall, Portumna From 8.30am-12.30pm.
Kiltormer Band:
In the Shannon Oaks Hotel, Portumna on bank holiday weekend Friday 30th May at 9pm. Adm: €5 and all are welcome. Draw for scouts “Super Draw “ will also take place on the night. Proceeds towards 10th Galway Portumna Scout Group. Please support.
Portumna Parent & Toddler Group:
Meets every Wednesday between 10am and 12am In Portumna Town Hall. Come and join us for a tea/ coffee and chat while the children Play. We have organized outings and in the summer when the weather permits we have our meetings outside.
Portumna Community School:
The following Adult & Post Leaving cert courses will be offered from Sept 2008 to May 2009. Community Care/Health Care, Care Assistant/Class room Assistant. Office Admin with Legal studies (Legal Secretary) Features: Fetac-Level 5 certification. Mornings only ( 9.30am 1.30pm) Mature Applicants welcome.
