This Sun 25th May. Anointing of the Sick at 2.30pm Followed by mass and the rosary procession.
We will be joined by Galway and Armagh Dioceses and the Knights of Columbanus on the day.
Priests Summer Collection:
Will be taken up at all masses next weekend.
First Holy Communion- Gortanumera:
Congratulations to the boys who made their 1St Eucharist last weekend.
To parents, teachers, family and friends: Thank you for the support of your faith and example to the young people.
Corpus Christi Procession:
The procession will take place on Sun 1st June immediately after 11am mass.
We encourage every home in the parish to be represented and to take part in the procession with your family.
We are grateful to all who prepare the route for the Procession: House- Alters, Buntings, Altar in the Square and all who help out.
The Route of Procession:
Out the main gate of the church, turn left, 1st left in to the Square around Dunkellin Tce, turn left at St. Brendan’s Rd, down lower St. Brendan’s Rd, Turn left down St. Brendan’s St, turn left at main gate of the church and assemble in front of the Sacred Heart Statue.

In the Shannon Oaks Hotel, Portumna on bank holiday weekend Friday 30th May at 9pm. Adm: €5 and all are welcome. Draw for scouts “ Super Draw “ will also take place on the night. Proceeds towards 10th Galway Portumna Scout Group. Please support.

Public meeting to provide information on Drugs & Alcohol Misuse and the services which are available to the Community. Venue: The Shannon Oaks Hotel, Portumna on the 26th May from 7pm to 9pm.
