In association with Sliabh Aughty Cycling Club are holding their Annual Lough Derg Cycle on Sun 28th Sept 2008 at 8.30am. Please contact the secretary Lisa on 087 6407966 (evenings) Please note it is a 70 mile cycle and we ask that training starts with immediate effect.
Portumna Community School:
An information evening for the P.L.C & Adult course- Community Care/ Healthcare (Care Assistant/ Classroom Assistant) will be held on Wed 3rd Sept at 8pm in Portumna Community School. Course begins on Monday 8th Sept at 9.30am for those who have no previous computer experience and on Monday 15th Sept for the full group. A few places are left in the course which will run Monday to Friday from 9.35 to 1.25pm. Contact 090-9741053.
