Portumna GAA Club:

Wishes to inform their supporters that the County final is now on the 2nd Nov. Please decorate your home or business with flags and bunting. Training fund in place and anyone wishing to contribute can do so by contacting a committee member. Anyone wishing to travel to the final by bus please contact D.Lynch & Sons. This is a huge honour  for the club who will be contesting their 6th consecutive county final in a row.

CD LAUNCH:

On Sunday night 26th Oct. John Murphy will launch a new CD: Drive Safely On Your Way: at Treacy’s in Killimor in aid of the Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. There will be a one minutes silence in respect of our local fatalities at 11pm. Time 10pm -12.30 midnight. Please support this great cause.

 

Halloween at Portumna Castle & Gardens:

If  you are brave enough…… come to the Castle & Garden on Monday 27th Oct at 3pm to 4.30pm for spookie stories, frightful faces and creative costumes. At 3pm sharp Clare Muireann Murphy will tell stories suitable for children aged between 4-7yrs. At 3.45pm for the older age group 6-10yrs. From 2.30-4.30pm get your face painted with frightening themes. At 4.30pm the winner of the most original creative costume seen in the castle throughout the day will be announced and presented with their prize. Admission free all afternoon. Operation Christmas Child:
