Live with Galway Bay Fm in O’Meara’s Bar on Friday 13th March from 8-10pm. Pre match analysis with Portumna and Waterford sides on their run up to the club all Ireland hurling final. Refreshments served and all are welcome.

Kickboxing- Portumna
Congratulations and well done to everyone who participated in the annual kickboxing tournament in Birr on Sunday 1st March. Well done to Sophie Goode winner of the under 10, Sarah Fitzpatrick 2nd in under 14 and Sarah Conboy winner of the senior girls. Other fighters from Portumna included Fiona Gorman and Kara Donoghue. Trainer Elaine Fitzpatrick (Black Belt).
Portumna & District Active Retirement Assoc
Local historian John Joe Conwell will be a guest speaker on Thursday, March 12th at 8pm in Portumna Retirement Village. He is going to talk on the history of Portumna and surrounding districts. Anyone interested welcome.
Portumna & District Lions Club
A sincere thank you to all who contributed to our annual church gate collection last Dec. The total amount collected was €537.37 over the two days in Portumna and €84.34 was collected in Boula.
Portumna & District health forum & Portumna mental health Assoc
