Adjudication time is drawing close for the national tidy towns competition and the tidy towns committee would like to make a special plea to all householders & business people in Portumna to come out and help.
Portumna Heartsafe Schools- Healthy Heart Evening
In Portumna Community school on Friday 22nd May from 3pm to 9pm. Free service is available to parents/guardians/school staff over 40 years and who have not attended their GP in the last year for a cholesterol check. Each assessment takes 20 minutes and fasting is not required. First come first -served basis and only available by appointment. Contact Mary Gillooly 091 775906.
