Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock
This Sunday 24th May with ceremonies taking on the usual format, beginning with the anointing of the sick at 2.30pm followed by mass and the rosary procession.

Portumna Social Services Committee
Is running a golf classic in aid of the extension to the day room in the day care centre for senior citizens. The classic takes place in Portumna Golf Club on Fri 12th June. Tel: 090 9741059. We ask all golfers to support their senior citizens by playing a game of golf on that day and non golfers can help by sponsoring a tee or green.
South East Galway Archaeological & Historical Society
Society outing to West Offaly this Sunday 24th May. Departing from the Square Banagher at 12.30pm. Visiting sites in Lemanaghan, Pullough, Boher, Lough Boora and Shannonhabour. Guide James Scully.
Portumna G.A.A Club & Portumna Camogie Club
Invite you to their presentation night in the Shannon Oaks hotel on Sun 31st May at 8pm sharp. Guest of honour Nicky Brennan former president of Cumann Luthchleas Gael. The presentation is open to everybody and is presented to the supporters free of charge. Refreshments on the night buffet style. Music by Keith & showband show. The club would like to thank all the people who supported La Na g club day. Thanks to Fr. Abe for a lovely mass and to all the young people and adult teams who participated in the games to make it a most enjoyable day.
