We wish good luck to Sr. Ann, Mercy sister who is being transferred to Loughrea. She spent 12 years in Portumna and did great work with the legion of Mary, Visitation of homes and did valuable work in St. Brendan’s national school.

Would you like to contribute in a small way to keeping the faith alive in Ireland?. Why not promote The Irish Catholic in your parish. This year is the year of the Evangelisation in Dublin and the year of the priest in the whole Church. We in the Irish Catholic want to help people discover what it is to be a catholic and a Christian and that life has meaning and is worth living.
