Karen Power from Tynagh is participating in the Borneo Rainforest Trek in June 2010 in aid of the ISPCA and must raise €5000 for the organization with half the amount due by Dec 2009. Na Calai CDP & South East Galway Traveller Family Support Programme in association with Galway County Council are delighted to announce the recent launch of their CD “Type Cast” the album was made by two groups of teenagers from Na Calai CDP’s Traveller Family support programme. All songs are written by the two groups, Mr TLC & Lavender Blue, over a 12 week period with the assistance of Simon Kelly, a writer and musician. All Lyrics, music and melody are 100% original. CD’s are available to purchase in local outlets for a €5 donation that will go towards COPE Waterside House Galway.
