Ability West Portumna Services - Remembrance Mass
Ability West Portumna Services are having a Remembrance mass for the deceased service users and staff, their families, staff and all families who have suffered bereavements. On Monday 30th Nov at 11.30am in St Brigid’s Church, Portumna. All welcome.

Developing our Parish means that we support everything “local”. Communities are under threat today from larger Centres. We all depend on local enterprise and business. It should not take a crisis to make us aware. Support for local business and community effort is a vital sign of a Living Parish. Traders should be competitive in their prices.
Mercy College Woodford - Annual Concert
The Transition Year students are holding their Annual Concert on Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd, & Friday 4th Dec in the school hall at 8pm. Tickets available from Transition Year students. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Annual Bazaar
In Fahy hall on Sunday 6th Dec. Santa will arrive at 2pm. Will include: bottle stand, auction of items, raffle galore for turkeys,hams,hampers, Christmas cake & attractive prizes.
Local Bus to Athlone
On the first Friday of every month. Departs on the 4th Dec from Portumna Square at 10.30am and will stop en route. Departs Athlone at 4.30pm. Travel pass accepted. Return fares €5-u/18’s €3 and under 5’s free. To book Tel IRD 090-9741867.
Parish Christmas Party
For Senior Citizens will take place in the Shannon Oaks hotel on Sunday 6th Dec. Commencing with mass at 2.30pm followed by Christmas Dinner. Music, song and dance. Music by Pat Conlon. Contribution appreciated. Donation box at door. Tickets are not being delivered this year. Please just come along. We will you if you are not there.
