Irish Cancer Collection was €520. Flood collection was €2,500. Thanks to all who contributed.
Ticket Offer For Club Final
GAA Headquarters have offered a fantastic discount ahead of the all Ireland club final. Four months before the double header at Croke Park a new ticketing initative by the gaa. Discounted tickets are now available to purchase for as little as €5 before the 21st Dec. The cost of the ticket on the day of final is €25. Anyone who wants to avail of this offer can do so at www.ticket.gaa.ie
St. Stephens Day Walk
Just to remind everyone about our walk again this year. Walk starts at the Castle gates at 2pm. All money raised will help to cover expenses associated wit pony riding for the services users attending St.Dympna’s Adult Day Services. All welcome.
Cancer Care West Fundraiser
To be held in Duffy’s lounge on St. Stephen’s night 26th Dec at 9.30pm. Music by Oddity. Tickets €5 and admission at door. Spot prizes on the night. All welcome.

Christmas Day Swim
At the swimming area, Lough Derg, Portumna at 12 noon. This year’s swim is in aid of providing a heart difibillator for Portumna town which will be located in the front entrance of O’Meara’s super value by spring 2010. Cards available from Curley’s pub, Hayes pub, O’Meara’s super value and members of the Portumna red cross and Shannon oaks hotel leisure centre, Portumna. Please support this worthy cause.
