Healing Mass
To mark “World day of the sick”. We will have a healing mass in St. Brigid’s church on 11th Feb at 7.30pm. This will include the sacrament of the anointing of the sick. All sick, elderly and housebound and parishioners are invited. Your neighbor may need transport to the church, so please oblige.

“Teenage Years” by David Coleman
St. Brigid’s Vocational school presents a talk on “Teenage Years” by David Coleman, clinical Psychologist & presenter of the RTE programme “Teens in the wild” on Thursday 11th Feb in the Loughrea hotel & spa at 8pm. Tickets cost €10 and are available from the school or hotel.
Lorrha Hall Committee Fund Raising Night
For the North Tipperary Hospice. The Greyfort Gospel singers (Borrisokane) present speed your journey --- The Gospel in story and song in Lorrha Community hall on Sat 13th Feb at 8.30pm. No door charge. Donations at your discretion.
Portumna GAA Club Lotto
There was no winner of last week-ends lotto jackpot. Numbers drawn were 1,5,,10,27. One person Billy Daly Portumna matched 3 numbers. He will receive €100. People from the parish who are away and would like to support the club you will be able to do lotto on line. The club are in the process of registering on line and this will be up and running on the weekend of the 14th Feb. Annual lotto available also. If interested contact Celia Keane club treasurer at 087-1342148. Membership for club is now due and if interested in becoming a member contact Celia Keane or Fiona O’Meara. Membership as follows Player €50 & non player €40, Student €30, juvenile under 16yrs €20. Family where children have to be under 16yrs €90. All Ireland semi final is only a week away the club are asking all business and householders to decorate their premises with flags and bunting. Show your support for the team and management. The club are running a bus or buses depending on numbers to Parnell Park next week-end. Anyone interested contact D.Lynch & Sons. Cost of seat €15. Payment with booking.
