Portiuncula Hospital Action Committee
Are organizing a march to ensure that the present services and jobs that are currently provided by the hospital will remain in place. Please show your support for your Local Hospital by bringing your families, friends and neighbours to march on Sunday 28th March at 1pm in St. Michael’s Square, Ballinasloe.
Portumna Tidy Towns
A very big thank you to all who contributed to the Portumna Tidy Towns Church gate collection. The money collected will go towards planting for Spring & Summer. Also a gentle reminder to all residents & businesses in Portumna that adjudication time is “Looming”. We would encourage everyone to continue to take pride in their town and get involved in making their street, estate, road or footpath outside their door clean and tidy. Anyone interested in getting involved in the weekly clean-up should meet at the Library on Saturday mornings at 8am. All gloves, bags, litter pickers will be provided.
The Wren’s Nest Ponies
Are having an Open Day on Easter Sunday at the Ferry Inn, beside Portumna Bridge. There will be free Pony Rides between 2pm-5pm (confined to children 10 years and under. Pony will be led) Bouncy Castle & face painting etc. Come along and find out all about what we have to offer.
