Portumna & District Lions Club
Would like to thank everyone for making the table quiz a huge success. Money raised has gone to a local family member who has been affected by a recent fire within their home.
Portumna GAA Club Lotto
There was no winner of last Saturday night’s lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1,16,19.27. Two people matched three numbers. Bernie Keane and Christy Byrne they each receive €50.
Portumna senior hurlers play Killimor in the senior league on Sunday 4th April at 6pm. If Portumna under 21’s win on Fri they play Pearses in the quarter final in Ballinasloe on Monday at 6pm. If beaten the minor hurlers play Michael Breathnachs at 6pm. Venue to be decided depending on Friday’s result. Portumna under 14 hurlers play Bearna/Furbo in Feile Competition on Easter Monday.
Variety Concert
Comedy, music & song is being held in the Carlton Shearwater hotel, Ballinasloe on Fri & Sat 9th & 10th April at 8pm to raise funds for the new Cancer Support Centre in Ballinasloe. Adm: €10 to book tickets phone 0879840304.
