Social Dance Classes

Portumna GAA - Lotto & News
There was no winner of last Saturday night’s lotto jackpot. Numbers drawn were 4,9,14,17. 4 matched 3 numbers. Frances madden, Ian Greenwood, Ann & Julie Tuohy & Michael Keane. The club would like to thank all the people who supported our official opening last Sunday. A big thank you to all the people who gave of their time voluntary in preparing for the big day. Thanks also to all the people who helped out on the day, singers, dancers & entertainers. Paudie Butler the National Director of hurling will visit the two local national schools on Tuesday 18th May. 1st to 6th class will be taken for coaching sessions.
Coarse Fishing Lessons
Are being held throughout the summer in Portumna. Cost; 2 day course €75 adults, €50 children (10yrs-17yrs) 4 day course €120 adults, €80 children. Hours: 10.30am-5.30pm weekdays, 11am-6pm weekends. All tackle and bait supplied. Contact Mike Murray on 087-3121595 or 09097-59596.
Puck Idol
A special tribute show to our hurling heroes will take place in the Shannon Oaks hotel on Friday 21st May at 8pm. It promises to be an unmissable night of music, song and talent. Annual Silver Circle Tickets
In aid of the Day Centre, Portumna are now selling in your area. Draw will take place each week over five weeks starting on the 1st June. Cost of tickets €10. Please support as this money is essential and goes directly to the everyday running costs of providing the best care to our elderly at the centre.
