Irish Water Safety Week
Congratulations to all who participated in Portumna's recent water safety week. All showed great improvement and commitment throughout the week. A big thank you to all the volunteer instructors and helpers who made this week possible. We hope to see you all again next year.

There was no winner of last week-ends lotto jackpot. Numbers drawn were 2,7,16,25. Two people matched 3 numbers Sean Grady & John Shaughnessy.
Well done to Owen Treacy on winning the Connacht Poc Fada during the week. Owen goes forward to the all Ireland competitions which will take place in the Cooley mountains.
U/16's play Carnmore in Carnmore on Sunday 18th July at 12pm.
Junior B team play Ahascragh Fohenagh in Killimor on Sunday 18th July at 7pm.
The V.H.I hurling Cul Camp will take place in the G.A.A grounds on Monday morning the 19th July at 10am. Anyone who has not already registered can do so on the morning.

Dr. Kevin Connolly - Retirement
Dr. Connolly is retiring after more than 30 years of dedicated service to children and families in the children's unit in Portiuncula Hospital. An open day will be held on Friday 30th July from 2pm-6pm on St. Therese ward for those who wish to call in and mark the occasion wit Dr. Connolly and staff members. All welcome.
