The Sick
The Priests of the Parish would be grateful to know about people who are sick. We would like to pray for them at mass (privately) and when possible to visit the hospital. Unless a family member tells us, we cannot be expected to know. When parents of parishioners who live outside our parish die, the Priests would like to have information from family or neighbours.

Table Quiz
Barroughter & Clonmoylan Bogs Action Group are holding a table quiz in McDonaghs, Kilcorban, Tynagh on Fri 20th Jan at 9pm. Table of 4 is €20 and a raffle will be held on the night with great prizes. A prize will be given for the best score from a table of 4 young people. All proceeds of the night goes towards the fight campaign to save our bogs.

Portumna GAA
There was no winner of last week-ends lotto worth €7000. The numbers drawn were 13-19-25-26. Four matched three numbers. Tom O'Brien, Seamus Cooney, Joe Moore & P.Conboy, they each receive €25. Saturday's nights lotto is worth € 7,100.
The annual general meeting of the Club will take place in the Town hall on Sunday 22nd Jan at 2.30pm. All welcome.
