Sign Out Youth Cafe U18 Soccer Tournament
There was a wonderful turnout at Sign Out Youth Cafe’s first ever U18 Soccer Tournament last Sunday, the atrocious weather conditions failed to dampen the players enthusiasm and enjoyment. There was a large entry, all games were evenly contested with a very close final between Oisin Royston’s Team and Sean O'Meara’s Team. Tim Walsh, on behalf of Sign Out Youth Co, thanked all those for taking part in the tournament and showing such great sportsmanship throughout the day, he paid a special word of thanks to Martin Mc Namara of Sportslawn Ireland for his generous sponsorship of the tournament, to Kayleigh O Brien and Keith Flynn of the Irish Red Cross and to Tony for refereeing in such inclement weather conditions. Tim commended Paul Killeen, Garry Curran, Brian Fahy, Oisin Royston and Mark Walsh for organising the event. He then presented the Runners Up, Oisin Royston, Garry Curren, Paul Killeen, Padraig Brehony and Sean Duggan with their prizes and congratulated the Winners, Sean O Meara, Keith Kelly, Justin Cahill, Niall O'Meara and Thomas Cleary on their narrow victory.
Sign Out Youth Cafe and All Weather Pitch is open every Friday from 7pm to 9.30pm for all 15 to 18 year olds. For further information contact 087 6779267 email youthsignout@gmail.com
